10 November, European Tour Final Qualifying, 1st Round 72 (Ev)
Played pretty well today as it was really windy till last four holes. Shot of the day came when I hit a 3 wood from a bunker with 246 yards to the flag. Ball ended up 10 feet from pin but I missed the eagle putt! Got me going though for three in a row after that. Double at the last courtesy of fat 7 iron into the water leaves a sour taste but overall an OK start. David

11 November, European Tour Final Qualifying, 2nd Round 75 (+3)
Blustery again today but again I played OK. Hit a lot of fairways and greens but a lot of misses with the short stick. Missed a few short putts early to be a couple over. Rest of the day went OK apart from 11 where I hit a poor drive that two bad breaks to finish OB. Ball hit bunker down slope then cart path before bouncing on top of wall and out! Adjustment in set up for last few meant much sharper shots. Not disastrous though. David

12 November, European Tour Final Qualifying, 3rd Round 72 (Ev)
A wasted opportunity today. Played solid all day with only a few loose drives and hit 16 out of 18 greens. Three under after ten, then two 3 putts and a ball into the water cancelled out all the good work. David

13 November, European Tour Final Qualifying, 4th Round 77 (+5)
Safe to make the cut but played terrible again over closing holes. Level after ten, then every green I missed was a bogey. My short game was appalling. Had one single putt and only 2 yesterday. After the 12th a hit a few loose shots and along with a couple of bad breaks led to bogeys on 4 out of 5 holes. Have too many runs like that but was able to contrive a par at the last with a 6 iron in my hand. After the 10th hole today I was sitting very comfortable inside card mark, let alone cut and have now left myself a lot of unnecessary work as every day so far has been a big wasted opportunity. Not very happy at the moment but will be fine for tomorrows round. David
