28 July, Ireland Ryder Cup Challenge, 1st Round 75 (+3)
A weird day. Drove it well but iron play was sloppy and when I needed my short game my pitching was very poor and I also struggled with the putter. Made 4 birdies, all tap ins but 7 bogeys were very costly. Was calm and relaxed all day but far too many mistakes to be at all competitive. David

29 July, Ireland Ryder Cup Challenge, 2nd Round 72 (Ev)
Better today but not enough. Two birdies were offset by two bogeys both of which were very soft to be round in level par 72. Again I drove it pretty well and my irons were a lot better but still not sharp enough. Wasted four shots on par 5's and that's the difference. David
